About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Program Associate based in the Philippines. The position will support the New Energy Nexus Philippines program to ensure successful implementation of the energy startup programs and related activities including designing and implementing energy meetups, training and acceleration programs in collaboration with partner organizations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Program Design & Implementation

• Support in the planning, design and implementation of acceleration programs in supporting energy entrepreneurship in the Philippines.
• Organize events, workshops, trainings, boot-camps on various clean energy & innovation topics.
• Facilitate speakers and startups for in person and online workshops and bootcamps.
• Manage the engagement of startups in accelerator cohort and provide support needed to help enterprises to succeed.
• Manage database of key contacts, liaise with our network of energy professionals, mentors, partners and startups for their active engagement in the program.
• Research & identify relevant service providers for activities, including trainers, facilitators, business advisors, mentors etc.

Partnership Development and Fundraising Support

• Identify and research potential partners, including NGOs, government agencies, businesses, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing partners.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and events to network and build partnerships.
• Assist in developing fundraising strategies and proposals.
• Research and identify potential funding opportunities, grants, and donors.
• Help prepare grant applications and other fundraising materials.
• Collaborate with the team to organize fundraising events and campaigns.

The position will be full time and mostly virtual with occasional domestic travel for physical events.

Your Responsibilities 

The Business Information Research (BIR) Lead will oversee a group of BIR analysts who are responsible for the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets, with a focus on companies and infrastructure projects, which are vital inputs to the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform. The BIR Lead will oversee the team’s development, ensuring performance standards are met, supporting the overall goal of establishing Manila as the centre of excellence for dataset management. 

The BIR Lead will focus on the development and well-being of the team, while setting out individual roadmaps for the group’s future with the company and is expected to be a conduit for process improvements and strategic decisions. The BIR Lead is also expected to collaborate with other divisions and Department Heads located in Asia, Europe, and North America in support of strategic projects and the company’s overall goals.

Your Responsibilities  

As a RepRisk® Junior Business Information Analyst, your focus is the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies and infrastructure projects which are vital inputs to the ESG Research, Products, and Sales departments through the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform.  Part of your responsibilities would include matching client company records that were not automatically matched to the RepRisk database by our internal tools.  You will also be responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of entities in the RepRisk database by performing scheduled reviews, cleanups, and special projects. The position will also expose you to other special tasks as needed.  The work includes analysis, data management and quality control, as well as encoding and clerical tasks. 

This role will report directly to the Business Information Research Team Leads in the Manila office.  Moreover, you will: 

• Create and maintain RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies, NGOs, infrastructure projects, etc. associated with environmental, social, and corporate governance issues 

• Research, validate and encode relevant data, assuring the quality of entity level information before entering it into the RepRisk database in accordance with RepRisk standards

Job Description

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE

As a Data Services Associate, you will be working with different tools and databases to review data. You are responsible for executing processes as defined by the client and/or management. The role requires keen attention to detail while maintaining productivity at defined proficiency levels and an aptitude to learn new processes.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Execute processes assigned by the client and/or management.
• Ensure defined productivity targets are met.
• Ensure defined quality targets are met.
• Identify process improvement opportunities as they arise.
• Reports process deficiencies to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• creating and finishing projects assigned by the client. 
• Collaborate with internal and external teams in completing projects.
• Review submissions.

YOU HAVE…

• Bachelor's / College Degree in any field you’re passionate about!
• Previous experience in a related field is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
• Experience in using CRM and other similar applications or tools.
• Basic knowledge of cloud-based applications such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs and MS Office applications.
