The Communication Manager oversees the internal and external communications strategy of the Ubisoft Philippines Studio and the Zone, ensuring that the communication needs of the Ubisoft group are being fulfilled.  

Reporting directly to the Zone Communications Director, you will focus on employee and executive strategic communications, supporting the Managing Director and Philippine Studio Manager. 

You will collaborate with studios in the Ubisoft Zone (Vietnam, India, and Singapore) and align strategic priorities and objectives. You will define, implement, and execute the communication strategy locally.  

You will lead and monitor all events and campaigns in all our communication platforms, sharing our brand as Ubisoft to our target audiences. 

You will serve as the spokesperson for the Philippines studio as needed, being the local point of contact both for the other Ubisoft studios and local press & media. 

Zone Communications 

• Collaborate with Zone Leads across India, Singapore, and Vietnam for the Zone comms strategy and messaging. 
• Support the Managing Director in executing employee and executive messaging for the zone and cascading the zone level information locally. 
• Be the main contact point based in Philippines for all global and zone employee communications, events and projects. 

Employer Branding & Communications Strategy 

• Define, implement and execute a local communication strategy that aligns and supports the goals of the studio, zone, and of the group. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the studio and the Zone to ensure messaging and branding consistency. 
• Design and deliver a strong local employer branding strategy and plans, closely linked to the Talent Acquisition and Development plans and strategies. 
• Create local communication campaigns & media alerts 
• Shape local key messaging. 

Executive Leadership Messaging and Strategy 

• Write, edit, and produce high-quality content for various communication platforms, including executive presentations, speeches, articles, newsletters, and events.  
• Provide media training, coaching, and feedback to the leadership team and ambassadors on their communication skills and style.  

PR and Media Relations 

• Serve as the point of contact and be the spokesperson for Ubisoft Philippines in events and for all local communication related inquiries  
• Identify speakers and speaking opportunities for the studio and its products 
• Manage press and influencer relations 

Content Creation and Planning  

• Position engaging studio content within the network and the group channels 
• Plan and create content for all studio platforms (e.g. social media channels, intranet, and newsletters) 
• Monitor, respond and engage with the studio’s followers in external channels 
• Monitor, respond and engage with the employees on internal communications channels 

Event Management and Execution  

• Identify, conceptualize and execute local external and internal events, including budgeting and forecasting (this includes but is not limited to studio town halls, gaming conventions, and other marketing events) 

Studio Engagement & Support 

• Provide the employees with studio, network and group updates 
• Support the implementation and execution of network and group events 
• Support the transversal team with the implementation and execution of other events and initiatives (including creation of job ads and posters) 
• Lead the team in the application to local awards and recognition opportunities  
• Support in the design of studio swag  
• Support the Local Crisis Cell and manage Crisis Communications as needed. 

• Review financials and monitor submissions in SAP/OneStream for the assigned entities in accordance with local GAAP, IFRS, and Group Reporting policies and in line with the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) / Group Timelines.

• Drive a customer-centric approach by building partnerships and open discussions to capture developing concerns, issues, and identify best practices. Conduct regular monthly business reviews with the local stakeholders.

• Manage and resolve escalations, risks, and opportunities raised/identified.

• Responsible for leading the R2R team and keeping a high level of employee engagement.

• Ensure proper documentation and authorization for manual journal entries.

• Provide complete and timely R2R support in various audits and review requirements ensuring smooth and compliant operations.

• Reconciles subsidiary and general ledger accounts.

• Drive change management and related implementations in positively transforming the service delivery.

• Set up appropriate performance targets and conduct timely performance reviews to develop team members and address issues/concerns.

• Perform all other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Lead, R2R Service Delivery.

• Coach and mentor the team to improve performance and engagement.

The Sr. Commercial Manager at Igloo will be instrumental in strengthening and expanding Igloo’s presence as a leading provider of digital insurance solutions in Southeast Asia. With a dual focus on managing existing client relationships and sourcing new business partners, this role ensures that Igloo’s innovative insurance products meet the evolving needs of businesses and consumers. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to deepen relationships with current partners while actively identifying and onboarding new partners to drive Igloo’s mission of making insurance accessible and affordable for all.

Job Responsibilities 

Account Management & Partner Relationship Growth

• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients and partners, nurturing relationships to maximize satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
• Understand each partner's goals and collaborate closely with them to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding their use of Igloo’s digital insurance solutions.
• Work with internal teams, including product, marketing, and compliance, to ensure seamless delivery of Igloo’s services and a positive partner experience.
• Regularly assess partner performance, providing insights and solutions to enhance their experience with Igloo’s offerings and drive mutual growth.
• Lead renewal discussions and negotiate terms that support both partner objectives and Igloo’s commercial goals.

New Business Development & Partner Sourcing

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on strategic partnerships that align with Igloo’s mission to make insurance accessible, affordable, and inclusive.
• Conduct market research to build a pipeline of potential partners who can benefit from Igloo’s digital insurance solutions, such as lifestyle protection, e-commerce insurance, and device protection.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Track and evaluate performance across both account management and new business initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver regular updates to the Head of Commercial, highlighting partnership growth, key achievements, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to account management and business development, ensuring alignment with Igloo’s broader commercial and strategic objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; experience in the insurance, fintech, or tech industries is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or sales, with a demonstrated focus on client relationship management and business growth.
• Deep understanding of the insurance industry and digital solutions, ideally with experience in insurtech or related fields.
• Proven track record in managing and expanding client relationships, as well as in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with an ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
• Highly collaborative, with experience working across teams and departments to deliver integrated solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
