Your responsibilities:

Business Development

• To conduct market intelligence and identify market needs
• To identify & solicit potential customers and projects to secure business
• To develop new and existing accounts and expand business through-face-to-face contact with customers
• To ensure the number of prospect calls each month does not fall below the agreed standard
• To ensure there is full knowledge of all the key customers decision makers and key influencers
• To build strong and profitable relationship with personnel in customer organization
• To understand the Doka brand, products, and services completely and how they compare with competition
• To maintain and update customer records and enquiry status
• To manage and maintain a pipeline capable of delivering the budget

Sales

• To respond to sales enquires and convert them into orders
• To provide clients with quotations and technical assistance
• To service clients on a regular basis and provide formwork know-how
• To maximize revenue from clients
• To manage projects/determine project sales strategy (cost planning, pricing of tender, determine revenue and negotiate terms and conditions of contract)
• To collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that the most efficient formwork design is applied
• To devise the most profitable way to win and service business for the company

Customer Management

• To be accountable to all credit interactions with customer and ensure payment is received in full
• To ensure customer satisfaction with equipment and production delivery.
• To collaborate with operations team to ensure that delivery is made on time

Marketing

• To participate in all sales and marketing activities to promote and enhance branding image of the company
• To engaged actively in promoting Doka brand in Social Media Platform

This position requires someone who understands the Formwork and Scaffolding and can manage formwork design planning independently as well as manage a team, if required and support in the sales proposal and pitching.

Your responsibilities

• As Senior Formwork Design Engineer, you will have regular contact with customers and the sales organization as a problem solver and discussion partner.
• You work with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings using Doka formwork systems during the proposal stage of construction projects and finalize the drawings to be used for actual jobsites.
• You ensure that the drawings indicate the proper use of Doka forming equipment and that the drawings represent safe, economical and efficient designs.
• You prepare specifications and calculations for static quotes and deliveries.
• You provide material lists for quotations to Sales and Operations team, for shipments to the site.
• You participate in staff training programs ensuring continuous training is provided in calculations, formwork, product knowledge, computer systems/software applications, etc.
• You support the Sales Team by determining appropriate formwork solutions that meet the customers’ needs (economically, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines).
• You ensure that work is designed with available inventory and in conformance with contractual obligations.
• You ensure that the policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance and compliance are adhered to.
• Any other official duties as may be assigned by the Management.
