OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Tele Remote Bogger Operator who will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the LHD. This position operates boggers/Loaders which is used to transport/move dirt, load ore or rock into trucks or stockpileThe role will report to the Supervisor-Mining.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform daily safety checks of equipment;
• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area;;
• Responsible in erecting beacon lights, signage and barricade prior to bogging;
• Responsible in identifying and correcting hazard prior to bogging;
• Operate other heavy equipment and other related duties as required if permitted/trained;
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of any equipment;
• Maintaining roads/tram, stockpiles and loading areas; and
• Report any defects and respond to equipment critical alarms during remote bogging.

Seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and reliable Operator – Paste Plant who will be responsible in identifying and reporting equipment issues, accurate completion of daily logs and shift notes, and monitoring paste quality to meet design specifications.  Responsible also for managing QA/QC testing to ensure quality paste delivery, documenting relevant data, supporting the maintenance team, and conducting daily equipment checks. The position will report to the Supervisor – Paste Plant.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Conform to the safety standards, operation procedures and security protocols as set
• Report any safety, environmental hazards and security incidents to supervisor;
• Collaborate with supervisors and process plant operations team to ensure proper paste fill generation and consistent tailings feed supply
• Diligently operates Paste Back Fill Plant in accordance with Paste Fill Note;
• Monitors operational parameters, adjusts and carries out minor maintenance of process equipment when directed
• Ensure that the products produced meet all specifications set by the Metallurgy and UG Mine Paste Backfill Engineers
• Maintain continuity of work teams and participate in site training and development for professional growth
• Maintains detailed reports of operation completing and updating log sheets, logbooks and checklists accurately and on time each shift
• Report to supervisor any damage to equipment or at-risk situation that could lead to plant shutdown
• Always maintain excellent standards of housekeeping on every area in accordance with the Work Area Standard

Seeking two (2) suitably qualified and reliable Operator – Process Plant to optimize performance of all operating circuits within the plant, while working safely and efficiently, by following sound operating philosophies and standard operating procedures and actively participating in the departmental training scheme to ensure optimization of the plant occurs at all times. The role will report to the Supervisor - Process Operations.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide basic technical support to Process Ops and Process team
• Effectively manage and optimize the operations of a process plant facility in order to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, such as developing contingency plans for unexpected challenges that may arise during project implementation
• Apply safety principles, framework, processes, and measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and other adverse consequences and to ensure that all safety risks have been identified, assessed and satisfactorily mitigated
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wide variety of vehicles and equipment by applying the most cost-effective and best maintenance practice to improve availability and extend equipment lifespan
• Follow standard procedures for optimizing process plant recovery and throughput
• Follow organizational procedures and protocols for workplace emergencies, including safe evacuation, and emergency response
• Follow directions from superiors in conducting maintenance activities;
• Comply with all department procedures

Seeking a suitably qualified and reliable Operator-Truck to be responsible for the operation of rehandling truck to achieve productivity in a manner aligned to safety and environmental policies. To ensure the truck is in good condition by regularly conducting pre and post checks. The role will report to the Supervisor–Mining (Production).

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Maximize utilization of available trucks in a cost-efficient manner to transport ore and waste to designated dumping areas
• Operate equipment defensively and efficiently - ensuring compliance on all road safety and traffic rules and regulations to meet production targets
• Conduct pre and post operational safety inspections on equipment, and complete daily equipment reports
• Advise supervisor of any required maintenance or repairs of equipment
