PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical guidance to all Certification Centres in the contribution to the achievement of Quality Goals and Performance Standards

• Provide higher level of decision with regards to technical issues of the PCA process including any discrepancy that may occur between certification centers and inspecting affiliates
• Provide the Sector, if required, with technical advice and guidance for further development of the Conformity Assessment Programs according to TFS business strategy

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Updates himself / herself with the recent developments in the area of international rules, regulations, policies and practices pertaining to Conformity Assessment.
• Develops new policies, rules, instructions for existing and new PCA contracts
• Issues technical guidelines and policies to ensure continuous and consistent adherence to TFS Business Rules, Country Instructions and other technical requirements for inspection body (ISO/IEC 17020) and product certification body (ISO/IEC 17065).
• Provides direction and coaching to the Certification Centre (CC) Leaders in the areas of

• Advises Certification Centres contract teams on complex and highly technical cases.
• Facilitates CC Management Team meeting, as required, in addressing clarifications, issues, concerns and provide updates on policy aspects.
• Recommends the appropriate resource requirements of CCs and ensure appropriate candidates are selected.
• Reports to Management any breach of integrity, solicitation for, or offer of, an improper payment or advantage coming to his/her knowledge.
• Perform other tasks to achieve operations efficiency, as maybe required by Management.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System
• Act as Technical Manager for the Certification Centres as per ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065 requirements.
  • Trade Facilitation through appropriately attuned technical policies for all PCA contract teams following Conformity Assessment Instructions, TFS Business Rules and all other related references.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Semi-front-end group, composed of technical skilled people, attending on-line and off-line transfers from Level 1 Support
• Provide remote support for incidents and requests in support of the distributed end user devices (desktops, laptops, mobiles, and laboratory equipment)
• Able to spend more time than Level 1, and use additional support tools (e.g. Active Directory Admin Tools, Exchange Admin Center) or have administrator access privileges and apply specific technical knowledge to increase resolution rate (depending on which areas and capabilities granted)
• With remote administration access to end user workstation granted.

• Core Incident, Major Incident, Service Request, Problem Management and Knowledge practices involved.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Software Maintenance and Support. Remote support of SGS standard software for end users and devices, including installation, testing and maintenance.
  • Provide remote support (taking remote control of end user device when possible) for incidents and/or requests that cannot be resolved by Level 1
  • Provide operations and technical support for new software that is deployed throughout automated software distribution tool (subject to change management procedures)
  • In the event Software must be replaced to conduct a repair, restore the end user environment to the previous state including configuration and data
  • Support for installation of different Add Ins and upgradation of SGS standard software packages
• Remote IMACs (Installs, Moves, Adds & Changes). Installation of / or modifications to software included in SGS end user desktop/laptop Base Image and standard SGS software for end users and devices.
  • Provide remote support (taking remote control of end user device when possible) for IMACs requests that cannot be resolved by Level 1
  • Uninstall and reinstall any existing software or other related services as necessary to execute the IMAC
  • Install Software including new Software or upgrades using software distribution tools
  • Set-up security settings, file access and other administrative procedures required for the IMAC
  • Update the Asset Inventory within CMDB when Hardware or Software changes are implemented (when necessary)
• Device Configuration Support. Remote support of SGS standard device configurations for end users and devices, including the OS, user profiles/settings, printer and scanner drivers, and laboratory equipment
• Resolve Desktop related Security Incident. Identify and remove security threats from end user devices including providing remote support for virus and malware incidents and security alerts generated from Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) tools that cannot be resolved by Level 1
• Device Performance Improvements. Remote troubleshooting and improvements in end user devices performance

• Provide specialized functional support at application level for Global Business Applications addressing on-line and off-line incidents and requests from Level 1
• Participate on-line in incident resolution and diagnosis of incidents and, if necessary, collaborate with Business Applications owners and Application Support Teams.
• Responsible for maintaining and increasing the resolution capability of Application Support tickets by Level 1
• Ensure knowledge and specialization are effectively transferred to Level 1 (e.g., periodic knowledge transfer sessions, ticket solutions, KDB documentations, …)
• Act as interface with Business Application owners to maintain and increase the resolution capability. Manage periodic meetings with Business Application Owners for reviewing documentation, follow-up application changes and releases, outages, known errors and solutions of escalated tickets
• ITSM tool KDB, self-service solutions and FAQs for Business Applications in-scope updating
• Execute ongoing effort to improve first level resolution by analyzing improvement areas and proposing improvement actions to Level 1

OVERVIEW:

As the Trading Support Analyst, you will be responsible for the day to day communications for the entire Support process from initial query to resolution for our B2B clients.

THE CHALLENGE:

• To ensure that trading related customer queries are dealt with in a fast and efficient manner and to the highest possible standard.
• Provide ongoing QA of the Support process to management.
• Regular liaison with the Trading Services department to ensure best practice is achieved at all times –  report key issues and product extensions to drive improvement in the pre-match and MTS products.
• Liaising with traders across our global offices to ensure client queries are answered in a timely manner – build an in-depth knowledge of different team’s responsibilities.
• Escalation of internal/external technical issues and following this throughout it's life-cycle.
• Supporting the Daily Risk and Odds Management of our Trading Products.

• The Tier 2 Analyst, Global HR Technology Services will be a key contributor in stabilizing and enhancing our Workday support steady-state operations.
• The successful candidate will be in the frontlines of our support to HR users from all 5 regions where SGS has a presence and will partner with our in-house Global HR Technology Team in the design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday.
• Jumping off from our successful global implementation of Workday, the successful candidate will join our team who delivers Tier 2 Workday services to SGS. Accountabilities will include:
  • Handles support escalations from Tier 1 (local/regional super users). Manages incidents to ensure excellent customer service and quality incident management data for continuous improvement.
  • Executes mass upload of data using EIB including testing and deployment.
  • Configures recurring and/or simple setup values
  • Stands as an SME for the use of Workday by answering regular how-to questions.
• Supports functional analysts with Workday configuration, testing and reporting.
• Supports the Global HR Technology Services Manager with maintenance of documentation and continuous improvement of services.

• Ensures correct and timely Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issuance in relation to the productivity and quality targets of the Certification Center.
• Assess product and/or exporter risk levels, identification of product essential requirements and applicable standards following the Business Rules on conformity assessment, import eligibility and process flows, Conformity Assessment Instructions (CAIs), and other related references.
• Provides quality and technically based opinion on product standards and certification.
• Assists in the resolution of standards and certification cases and other requests and or inquiries by utilization of technical expertise on specific goods or commodity.

• Provides applicable product standards on the Report based on the Business Rules, using the SGS proprietary processing software- eTrade and other similar or related references
• Issues CoC’s based on Business Rules and conformity assessment instructions.
• Formulates Product Instructions based on product safety and performance standards
• Attends to all other operational concerns regarding Report issuance which needs technical and experienced opinion.
• Review the quality of the information and completeness of the documents and ensures that it is correctly indexed in the system.
• Review the file administration and standards of the Reports to be issued
• Provides timely and effective responses to the network in relation to inquiries concerning essential product requirements, standards, and service request inquiries.
• Participates in the comprehensive investigation and evaluation of files with standards disputes.
• Sends inquiries to the affiliates or Contract Management Offices (CMO) for additional information.
• Escalate cases of non-response status or high-risk disputes to Supervisor or Management.
• Prepares the PCA Position Paper to present the detailed basis for Standard selection and other evaluation activities.
• Actively attends and participates in team and company meetings/assemblies
• Performs duties or other responsibilities which may be assigned by the Management
• Assist in the maintenance of the Company Quality Management System and the Certification Center’s compliance to the TIC-CBCA Code of Practice and relevant standards (e.g. ISO 17020, ISO 17065)
