As Software Developer, You Will…

As Software Developer, You Have…

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience
• Experience in C# or object oriented language is required
• Experience in javascript frameworks (VueJS is an asset)
• Experience with relational databases and ORMs (Entity Framework is preferred)
• Experience building and consuming remote services
• Familiarity with cloud software development (AWS is an asset)
• Understanding or experience in an agile development team including source control and code reviews
• Knowledge of clean code practices, SOLID design principles and design patterns
• Experience with automated testing and TDD is an asset
• Passion for technology
• Effective communication(verbal and written) and collaborative skills
• Great organizational and communication skills

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years in a SAP integration application development role.
• Experience in a Retail/Marketing environment is highly regarded.
• Industry certifications highly regarded, including Agile or ITIL (Good to have)
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve under pressure.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle and various development methodologies (ie. Waterfall, ASAP, Agile)

What will you do?

• Work directly with internal business customers and technical peers to clarify requirements, design technical solutions and implement changes.
• Delivery of assigned Project and Support integration development tasks including:

1. Technical design
2. Unit test (automated where possible)
3. Deployment
4. Documentation

• Ensure all developments are designed to be user friendly, error tolerant, reusable and performant.
• Monitor and maintain a prioritized queue of application issues.
• Contribute to the client's integration development standards and guides.
• Provide design and quality assurance reviews for other team members in line with the client’s integration development standards and guides.
• Problem-solve and resolve production issues – Note: position may require after hours support on occasion.
• Work with system testers and business customers to test changes.
• Coordinate the application release to production.
• Stay up to date with industry best practice, emerging technologies, and roadmaps, and suggest appropriate training as required.
