About the role

You will be part of a team that are key point of contact for FIS’s Card Processing Services – P1C (Payments One Card) product.  In this Makati City based role you will be the primary customer liaison for service aspects of client relationships with major clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Splunk Engineer with a strong background in Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Splunk infrastructure in a hybrid cloud large scale environment.

Your key tasks 

• Design, implement, and manage the Splunk infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Splunk indexer clusters and search head clusters.
• Performing optimization of existing clustered Splunk deployments.
• Monitor operations of Splunk platform to enable proactive issue identification, response, and resolution.
• Integrate Splunk with a wide variety of legacy data sources, industry leading commercial security tools and Cloud Service provider facilities.
  • Build Splunk Technology Add-ons.
  • Build custom script in the following languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, VBscripts).
  • Build Splunk apps to be deployed on thousands of Splunk Universal Forwarders.
  • Interact with REST API endpoints.
  • Interact with RBDMS in SQL.
• Effectively and efficiently onboard data sources, create indexes and data model, create CIM compliant data mapping, establish health monitoring and KPIs.
• Manage Splunk knowledge objects (Apps, Dashboards, Saved Searches, Scheduled Searches, Alerts. etc.)
• Manage Splunk Role Based Access Control.
• Onboard Threat Intelligence feeds and correlate with data.
• Assist Security Analysts providing them consultancy to leverage the Splunk environment.
• Drive the operational model transformation of SecOps.
• Identify technology gaps, security gaps, develop solutions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Splunk infrastructure and processes.
• Work closely with IT, security, and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide Splunk solutions
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Splunk effectively.

The Software Engineer is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions. The role includes working on Front-end and back-end systems. The main duties include understanding user requirements, translating them to Front/Back End code, developing database objects and APIs.

The candidate will provide analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications.

1. Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications and translate them into engineering artifacts, which typically include design specifications, source code, test scripts and test results.
2. Works with Senior Software Engineers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and software development best practices.
3. As part of Agile teams, completes software development work which includes application design, coding, code review and testing. Keeps Agile team and APM apprised of project status.
4. Offers suggestions to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project and program objectives.
5. Manages engineering risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues and devising methods to mitigating them.
6. Supports business units in the resolution of in-depth user questions and issues following production support process and SLA’s.
7. Maintains a working knowledge of new technology and software engineering standards, practices and tools.
8. Collaborates with IT management to define and develop documentation & engineering artifact standards, guidelines, processes, and templates.

Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts.

Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

Your key tasks:

• Define Test Policy and Test Plan
• Provide testing effort estimations
• Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
• Manage defects and reporting
• Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability
• Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
• Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting
• Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures
