The QA Representative is responsible for reviewing and publishing content on our platform. This full-time role involves ensuring the content meets high-quality standards and follows the company's guidelines. The successful candidate will be part of the Publishing Team and will report to the Onboarding and Publishing Lead.
To succeed in this role, the QA Representative should possess strong communication and organizational skills, be able to work autonomously with a proactive, flexible, resilient approach, and ideally, have a sound knowledge of well-being, mental health, and meditation practices. Please note, that this is a hybrid position. We have a team based in Manila who catch up regularly so ideally you will also live in the area.
Responsibilities
The QA Representative will work closely with other Publishing QA Representatives, our Onboarding Publishing Lead and the Teacher Support Team when needed.
This role is important to ensure Insight Timer has great quality and relevant content published and featured at all times.
- Review and publish content in a timely manner, according to the companyās goals.
- Work closely with the Publishing Team to ensure we are continually and efficiently loading new and relevant content onto our platform.
- Ensure the quality of content remains at a high level: relevant topics, quality audio, well-written copy, beautiful imagery etc., and follows Insight Timerās content guidelines and requirements.
- Review and approve new teachers who meet content guidelines.
- Effectively communicate with teachers to provide feedback on their content and guide improvements in their offerings.
- Ensuring our feature lists are constantly updated and showing high quality and relevant content from a diverse range of teachers.
- You are expected to work 40 hours per week from 7am to 4pm (flexible options available)
- Confidence with tools and software: Google Suite, Slack, Freshdesk
- Strong spoken and written English
- You are process driven and have a proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to changing priorities
- Have experience working remotely and autonomously
- Well organised, with strong attention to detail
- Experience reviewing and editing content (photography, text, and audio) is a bonus
- Comfortable having weekly 1:1ās, and team meetings
- Work to deadlines. Your progress will be measured through quarterly KPIās and publishing quotas
- Knowledgeable or interested in well-being, mental health and meditation practices
- Reliable access to high-speed internet working remotely
