Reporting Line

• This position reports to the QHSEE Team Leader

Primary Responsibilities    

• Assists the QHSEE Team Leader in the securing of government licenses and permits of the various OGC operations, coordinating in the Division’s training programs and updating of learning and development records of OGC members. Acts as a Deputy Quality Manager, in the absence of the QHSEE Team Leader. Also acts as Deputy Document Controller.

Specific Responsibilities   

• Prepare training materials and facilitates training, if necessary
• Reserve resources needed for the training such as conference room, projector, trainer, etc.
• Facilitate the corporate trainings of newly hired NR-OGC employees on the following topics: ISO 17020/ISO 17025/9001 Awareness Training, Employee Induction, Basic Safety, Crystal, etc.
• Assist the Document Controller in ensuring that documented information:

• are created, reviewed and updated as necessary.
• external documents are distributed accordingly and obsolete copies are timely retrieved
• ensuring that SharePoint Repository and other monitoring reports are kept updated

• Assists the Quality Manager in ensuring the compliance of NR- OGC division thru the following:

• Coordinate with site/lab heads and/ or pollution control officers in securing the requirements for application/ renewal of license/ permit as well as preparation of reports as necessary
• Monitor license/ permit validity and ensure renewal within the lead-time period
• Monitor reports and requirements and ensure submission before deadline
• Act as site Pollution Officer, if necessary

• Consolidate, monitor, update and report Division’s Key performance Indicator, Safety Reports, Customer -related performance report and Training Tracker and ensure timely submission.
• Conduct trainings, audits, inspections, and other QHSEE-related tasks.
• Participates in incident investigations involving personnel within the function line by doing root cause analysis and or other related quality methodologies.

• Performs other related duties as may be assigned to achieve respective section’s goals or for own personal, or professional training, education or development as programmed by the immediate supervisor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for performing quantity and quality inspection or verification of ships, barges and pipeline transfers of petroleum, petrochemical and chemical products in accordance with the management system, applicable international and local standards and customer requirements

SECNDARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Perform visual observation, volume and temperature measurement and sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in lines, barge tanks, ship tanks, shore tanks, and other vessels
▪ Ensure that the received orders and instructions, obtained information from immediate superior are understood and documented.
▪ Attend commodity material movements involving line and tank transfer or displacement, loading and unloading.
▪ Attends intervention meetings and report to job site punctually.
▪ Communicate and coordinate with terminal, transport and company personnel and observe applicable operation and safety rules, regulations and standards to promote smooth exercise of duties assigned. Behaves ethically at all times.
▪ Communicates any problems, discrepancies or other noteworthy incidents to the Junior Operation Executive (JOE) and/or Operation Executive (OE) without delay.
▪ Promptly and accurately calculates quantities, perform full reconciliation and completes all required documents and distributes copies appropriately.
▪ Signs field inspection reports based on inspection services carried out.
▪ Labels sample containers with full and correct identifying data, including but not limited to location of sample, commodity/product, type of sample, name of the inspector did the sampling, date and time collected

Promptly and safely delivers samples to laboratory for analysis or turn in retain, or to customer’s facilities for analysis or retain.
▪ Prepares necessary forms, materials, equipment, appropriate personal protective equipment and or other requirements related to the job before proceeding to the work site.
▪ Ensure that all equipment is in good operation condition – calibration, verification and clean. This includes safety and monitoring equipment appropriate to the job.
▪ Perform routine equipment calibration, verification and function checks a monitor the availability of the equipment’s and supplies needed for the inspection job. Make any needs for such supplies known to the JOE or OE.
▪ Maintain work areas, records, and equipment in a clean, organized, and functional condition.
▪ Assist JOE in ensuring the customer complaints and audit findings are addressed with efficient service quality investigation, including: root cause analysis/identification, and effective corrective and/or preventive action.

• Use ArchiCAD to complete detailed residential architectural drawings of buildings and structures within the timeframes allowed.
• Interpreting additional consultants documentation and include into construction drawings where required.
• Ensure compliance with NZ statutory and regulatory building requirements and manufacturer/ supplier specifications.

You will speak with customers or potential customers to provide education and sales information related to products or services. You will assist in the maintenance of the company’s customer database.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs outbound cold calls to consumers to soft sell Synergy products and/or services.
• Places outbound follow-up calls to leads and address their inquiries, if any – triage to Management if necessary.
• Answers questions about product and/or services in detail and the company.
• Maintains database by entering new and updated customer information and documentation, as needed.
• Meets quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics.
  

Qualifications:

• Must possess excellent customer service skills and experience (phone and/or face to face)

• Ability to communicate clearly via telephone and e-mail required.
