The Telephone Operator  is the heart beat of the hotel operation. The position is responsible in processing all external and internal calls either by redirecting calls or assisting the caller. The Telephone Operator will take ownership of the callers’ requests, issues, concerns and ensure follow up according to the hotel’s standards. Telephone Operator serves as a liaison for guests requiring information relating to all aspects of the hotel. Telephone Operator maintains the hotel’s telephone system and assisting all external and internal guests in operating the telephone system.

Reporting to the Chief accountant, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Chief Accountant in the preparation of any and all reporting and analysis requirements regardless of reporting frequency including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc. This includes postings of vouchers.
• Ensure information presented in all reports is accurate and reflective of actual business transactions.
• Ensure all reports are prepared on a timely basis meeting all deadlines.

• Assist in conducting surprise spot-checks on General Cashier’s float on a periodic basis.
• Assist in conducting surprise spot-checks on all Outlet Cashier’s float on a periodic basis in addition to spot-check performed by the General Cashier.
• Assist in conducting surprise stock-count inspection in addition to/ during the month-end stock-count conducted by the Cost Controller’s office.

• Assist in the preparation of all groundwork required for all statutory audit and tax/fee requirements.

Outlet Cashier

As an Outlet Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the overall efficiency of set standards for the function.

What you will be doing:

- Settling guest check/billing by cash/cards

- Maintain the cash register by accurately counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring that it balances with sales transactions.

- At the end of the shift, reconcile the cash register, prepare a daily sales report, and assist with closing tasks.

- Drop the cash in the Finance office, each envelope will be checked by the General Cashier

- The redeemed gift certificate should be attached to the relevant guest check and secured in the drop safe with the shift cash drop.

- At the end of each shift, cashier should place the cash sales for the shift in a remittance funds envelope. The front of the envelope should give a clear breakdown of the money being remitted and all envelopes should be deposited into the Cash drop safe

The Food & Beverage Server will provide our Guests with warm and efficient service within our Food & Beverage Outlets. Taking food and beverage orders, offering suggestions and ensuring the quality of our products is outstanding are some of the key components of this role.
