As a Policy Governance specialist within the Center of Excellence (PGA), your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and govern policies and procedures that ensure compliance, consistency, and best practices across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish policy frameworks, review and update policies, and ensure adherence to policy requirements. This role requires strong knowledge of policy management, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Policy Governance: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive policy framework for the PGA. Identify policy needs, research industry best practices, and draft policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

• Policy Management: Facilitate the implementation of policies across the organization. Work closely with functional teams to ensure understanding and compliance with policy requirements. Develop communication plans and training materials to promote policy awareness and adherence.

• Policy Cascade and Awareness: Regularly review existing policies and procedures to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and compliance with changing regulations and business needs. Engage stakeholders in policy review discussions, solicit feedback, and incorporate revisions as necessary.

• Policy Governance Guidelines and Procedures: Establish and maintain a governance process for policy management, including policy creation, review, approval, and dissemination. Define roles and responsibilities for policy owners, reviewers, and stakeholders involved in the policy governance process.

• Policy Stewardship: Develop communication strategies and materials to effectively communicate policies and procedures to the organization. Conduct policy training sessions to ensure employees understand their responsibilities and obligations under the policies.

• Policy Adherence Metrics: Monitor policy compliance across the organization. Establish mechanisms for tracking and reporting policy violations or non-compliance. Collaborate with compliance and internal audit teams to address policy breaches and implement corrective actions.

• Document Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of policies and procedures. Ensure policy documents are easily accessible, well-structured, and properly versioned. Implement document control processes to manage policy changes and updates.

• Policy Mapping and Refinement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, process owners, and subject matter experts to gather input, align policy requirements, and ensure policy consistency across the organization. Engage stakeholders in policy-related discussions and initiatives.

• Process Improvement: Continuously improve the policy management process and related tools. Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry best practices, and advancements in policy governance methodologies.

• Policy Governance Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports and metrics on policy, guidelines, and process compliance, and. Provide insights and recommendations for improving adherence of stakeholders to the approved policy and guidelines.

The QA Technician 1 is responsible for assuring that the feeds produced conforms to specification. The position is also responsible for the implementation of sampling plan for finished feed. The position will assists in the implementation and documentation involving ISO, HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

QA Technician

1. Monitors and conducts physical evaluation, NIR analysis and provide disposition to finished feeds in bags, bulk bins and bulk trucks.

2. Monitors and conducts physical evaluation, NIR analysis and provide disposition to RM bin bottom samples.

3. Informs concerned department/s on deviation/non-conformity found to identify root cause.

4. Monitor and ensure the implementation of corrective actions and closure of the problem.

5. Implements standard operating procedure on retained sample management.

6. Verifies micro hand adds preparation report and production run report versus implemented formula to ensure accuracy.

7. Ensure the conduct of bulk density test, mixer test and swab test based on schedule.

Cost Management 

1. Checks/inspects production run ticket to validate sack of variance.
2. Monitors on-hold finished goods and ensures chemical and wet analysis is conducted by third party laboratory, when necessary.

Record Management

1. Manages and maintains a recording system of all evaluation and analysis results of finished feeds used for easy retrieval and reference.

2. Manages and maintains a recording system of all evaluation and analysis results of bin bottom samples for easy retrieval and reference.

3. Prepares and submit Shift reports.

4. Prepares and issue Product Quality Advise Note.

5. Maintains Certificate of Analysis of Finished Feeds, when necessary.

General Tasks

1. Monitor QA samplers activity.

2. Manage and monitor the supplies and samples inventory.

3. Manage and monitor composite sample transfer to reprocessing material inventory.

4. Monitor ageing status of finished goods at the warehouse.

5. Participates and contributes with cross-functional teams involving various process improvement activities.

Food Safety

1. Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.

2. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

The Steam Boiler and CDA Engineer is responsible for the control and monitoring and operation of the Steam Boiler plant and Compressed Dry Air facility. Perform maintenance as needed ensuring a reliable, efficient supply of steam and compressed air to all feed mill operations without sacrificing safety and environment-friendly operation. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Facility Operation and Maintenance

1. Efficiently operates computerized biomass boiler system in accordance with specifications, instructions, and specified sequence

2. Promptly provides feedback to maintenance planners, technicians, and/or supervisors regarding any abnormalities and alarming equipment conditions.

3. Regularly measure and monitor raw biomass feedstock, including wood, waste, or refuse materials.

4. Regularly monitor and record the data of air compressors and air dryers ensuring parameters are within the standard.

5. Consistently record and report operational data such as readings on meters, instruments, and gauges.

6. Effectively read and interpret instruction manuals or technical drawings related to biomass boiler production equipment or processes.

7. Regularly inspect the CDA facility and the biomass boiler plant or processing equipment, and record and report damages, and any facility problems.

8. Effectively operate the backup diesel fuel boilers in case the biomass boiler can not supply sufficient steam to feed mill production.

Energy Production, Supply, and Management:

1. Regularly monitors and maximizes Energy Production

2. Constantly identifies and recommends to Mechanical supervisor strategies and measures to promote optimum energy production and energy conservation. Implements, monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of approved policies and measures.

3. Regularly prepares and submits a relevant report as advised by the team leader

4. Effectively coordinates with engineering, procurement, and warehouse analyst on the supply management of the biomass feedstock, diesel, and other supplies to assure continuous and cost-efficient operation.

Air Pollution Control Management:

1. Regularly monitors and records the quality of smoke emissions from the smokestack.

2. Closely coordinated with the Pollution Control Officer and mechanical supervisor regarding the regular stack emission testing of the facility in accordance with the standard as set by the DENR and or other applicable standards.

3. Promptly reports to the immediate Team leader any abnormalities in the emission of the smoke stack.

Risk Management

1. Closely coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors and formulate a risk management system for the Biomass boiler and CDA facility.

2. Consistently ensure that all risk-mitigating actions are implemented according to plan and regularly submit risk monitoring reports to the Mechanical Supervisor.

3. Continuously identify operational and occupational risk and recommend mitigating actions to the mechanical supervisor.

Continuous Improvement Projects:

1. Continuously explore the system and facility improvement and recommendations for implementation.

Other Tasks: 

1. Attends emergency/special calls relative to electrical problems during the night shift, should the need arise. 

2. Implements the good housekeeping program 5 S and other company programs in all areas supervised 

3. Ensures compliance with governmental regulations and deviation from such should be brought to the attention of the Feeds Engineering Manager

The Key Accounts Manager for Large Farm is responsible for generating and cultivating an increasingly loyal customer base of farm feed and animal health products for Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corporation through active selling, technical training activities and establishing relationships with industry stakeholders, farm owners, and potential customers.

The KAM will also be the technical and sales resource person in subjects pertaining to the segment; is involved in gaining and sharing knowledge to the sales team, distributors and other entities. He/she will be in charge of the growing market share for all large farms within his/her specified scope of coverage.

1. Provides assistance to QSP Supervisor in ensuring that the Pilmico Food Group guidelines & policies for systems and processes as well as External Interested Parties (e.g. customer and legal requirements) are implemented and up to date.

• Copies, sorts, and files records related to SHE activities, business transactions, and other matters.
