Global Service Center Overview:

The Chevron Global Customer Service Center is a team of 400 Customer Service Center & Technology professionals, spread out in 17 countries across the globe which provides a cost-effective, effortless, and digitally enabled experience for our internal partners and external customers as they engage with Chevron across the globe.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Attends to/resolves Global Aviation and North America C&I customers’ requests, inquiries and disputes
• Answers calls and responds to emails
• Documents calls and emails in Salesforce (case management system)
• Coordinates with various groups in Commercial Products supporting the Aviation and C&I business in the resolution of cases (ideal number of days to close a case should be between 3-5 working days)
• Performs the necessary analysis and research in resolving difficult and critical cases

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be part of a team of Demurrage and Post Deal Expense claim professionals in Manila. The team will provide Demurrage and Post deal claim analysis, defence, pursuit, advise and settlement on behalf of companies within the North American business, such as STUSCO, SOPUS and Shell Trading Canada.

The Voyage Claims Advisor will typically be:

• Assigned to a less complex desk involving:

• Few Multi-Desk (combi) cargoes involving different traders

• Few deviations/ standard deviations on returning deal structure

• Less challenging business partners and customers

• Dem desks; Chemfeeds vessels and barge demurrage on all desks, PDE desks; Chemfeeds, LPG, Baseoil, Canada and Fuel Oil -> less complex operations, smaller quantities with less likely demurrage impact operational complexity, less contractual variation and challenges, less multi event voyages

Accountabilities

• Manage a claims portfolio while setting daily prioritizations

• Proactively calculate and negotiate claims with the intent of minimizing claim exposure to Shell entities; send recovery claims prior to time bar date (last date for submission)

• Investigate the events of a voyage, deviations from the initial agreement and check what was contractually agreed

• Investigate the operations at load/ discharge port(s) and review contract and other agreements and check what was contractually agreed

• Prepare claims with third parties and stakeholders to ensure high income for Shell while reducing cost paid by Shell

• Ensure timely recovery of claims

• Ensure payment of agreed cost claims when needed

• Ensure close cooperation with the trading desk to understand their objectives, goals and preferred ways of working, their impact on your role; share with them exposure on deals and reasons for exposure

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develops, negotiates and secures Management sign-off of   Service Agreements with Partners including the service scope, expected output, costs and service levels.

We’re an award-winning global outsourcer providing contact center and back office services on behalf of our global clients. As an Incident Management Analyst, your role’s importance lies in providing quality content and contributing to our organization’s growth and success.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
Your day could see you:

• Identify, troubleshoot, coordinate and resolve contact centre facing issues in a timely manner

• Receive, resolve and coordinate requests relating to operational system requirements

• Provides reporting and administrative support across multiple lines of business.

• Request’s handling

• Receive, deliver, and coordinate requests on contact centre operational requirements

• Escalation Handling

• Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and coordinate contact centre facing issues in a timely manner

• Notify and update users upon resolution of issue via ticketing system and/or phone, chat, email

• Document issues in system issue tracker

• Reports and Administrative Tasks

• Provide daily reports pertaining to but not limited to the following: queue, attendance, escalations, customer facing outages, and BCP related logistics and issues as needed

• Provides support during Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) as required.

• Practice and ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures

• Performs other duties as assigned
