Data Engineer will work closely with the rest of the product team and business peers to effectively execute Data project initiatives. This person should be able to deliver in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Along with development, candidate will be responsible for maintenance of the data applications and would be expected to automate the processes with no or minimal human intervention. 

The General Ledger analyst must have technical accounting expertise to ensure timely and accurate month and year end close activities including review of financial results and statutory reporting compliance.   The position will report to the Finance Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review of overall financial results including monthly analytics review for Corporate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting
• Monitor, analyze, and reconcile accounting data such as:
  • Bank accounts
  • Prepayments
  • Intercompany transactions and account balances
  • Accruals
• Analyze and record month-end operating expense accruals
• Perform monthly system close functions

The Fixed Asset Tax Supervisor must have a high level understand of fixed asset accounting under US GAAP and US tax law to perform various analytics and provide requested data packages in a timely and accurate manner under the minimum supervision. This position will support the Western Digital’s (WD) Corporate tax team located in the US with fixed asset related projects through a shared service set-up. This position will report to the Fixed Assets Manager.

The role will handle various fixed assets projects including, but not limited to, the following:

• For WD US Entities:

1. Preparation of periodic data packages requested by the US tax team
2. Preparation and analysis of US fixed asset reports
3. Preparation and analysis of US Property tax reports Analysis of intercompany fixed asset transfer
4. Manage the cloud implementation of fixed asset’s global tax books
5. Ad hoc reports and assignments as required by managemen

• For WD Global Entities:

1. Review and analysis of global tax fixed asset reports
2. Maintain the Global Fixed Assets ledgers Analysis of intercompany fixed asset transfers
3. Other tax analysis related to fixed asset

As an AP Accountant 1, you will support the US entity in providing invoice processing services, account review reconciliation, verifying and invoice posting. You will be directly reporting to Accounts Payable Manager. You would be directly responsible for processing specific portfolio of vendor invoices and/or accounts. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•This role administers the business processes related to client onboarding, offboarding, reporting, and ongoing management of client and users that the GCR Team caters to.

•Manage activities, requests, and inquiries for support and information thru various case management tools which includes but is not limited to emails, chat, calls, etc.

•Manage enrollment, client set-up, and deactivation process by closely coordinating with clients, Client Success, Product, and other internal organization as needed.

•Ability to understand and troubleshoot problems and clearly identify complexity for proper and timely escalation.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
